1. Information We Collect

When you use VinnerVi, we collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

Account data: your Google account identifier and email address (via Google OAuth sign-in).
Transaction history: credit purchases, debits, and balance adjustments.
Job metadata: video URL, selected language, timestamps, and job status.

2. Audio and Video Data

Audio data submitted for transcription is processed transiently on our servers and is not retained after the job completes. We do not store recordings of your audio.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

Manage your account and credit balance.
Process translation jobs you submit.
Send service-related communications (e.g., job-failure alerts).
Improve and maintain the service.

4. Third-Party Services

We share limited data with the following third parties:

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your email address and payment details to complete transactions.
Google OAuth — authentication. We receive your account identifier and email; we never see your Google password.
Groq — speech-to-text transcription. Audio data is sent to Groq's Whisper API for transcription and is not retained by Groq after processing.
Google Gemini — AI translation. Subtitle text is sent to Google's Gemini API for translation into your chosen language.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

5. Cookies

The VinnerVi website uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure server infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Account data and transaction history are retained for as long as your account is active. Job metadata is retained for up to 90 days after job completion. Audio data is deleted immediately after processing.

8. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@vinnervi.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
