Request Deletion Without the App

You can request deletion of your account and its associated data by email. You do not need to reinstall VinnerVi or sign in to this website.

Email an Android account-deletion request

If the button does not open your email app, write to [email protected] with the subject Delete my VinnerVi Android account.

• Send the request from the email address you use for your VinnerVi account. For Google sign-in, use that Google account's email address.
• Say which platform's account to delete: Android, Apple app or website. Accounts are separate even when they use the same email address. Deleting one does not delete the others.
• Do not send your password, sign-in codes or purchase token. We may verify account ownership before deletion.

We process emailed deletion requests within 30 days and reply when they are complete. If you cannot access your account's email address, contact support for help verifying ownership.

In-App Options

If your Android app version offers Settings → Delete account, you can request deletion there and confirm with your Google account or password. If the option is missing or cannot complete, use the email request above. In the Apple apps, use the account-deletion option in Account settings.

Before Deletion

• Cancel any active subscription through the provider that bills you: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions for Android, Apple Account subscription settings for Apple, or the billing controls provided by VinnerVi or Stripe for website subscriptions. Deleting your VinnerVi account does not cancel, refund or revoke billing. Contact support if the cancellation controls are unavailable or you need help.
• Unused credits, including purchased credits, are lost when the account is deleted. Old Google Play purchases do not transfer to a newly created Android account. If you later create an account with the same Apple identity, an ongoing Apple subscription may be restored; deleted credits and history are not restored. See the Refund Policy for purchase refunds.
• Deletion is permanent. If a translation is still running, wait for it to finish or ask support for help.

Data Removed

Deletion removes the account's profile and sign-in data, translation history, stored translated subtitles, unused credit balance and account-linked credit, purchase and subscription records. Stored result cleanup may be retried if a service is temporarily unavailable. Database backups may contain earlier copies for up to 30 days before rotation.

Deleting your VinnerVi account does not erase third-party website cookies or site data on your device. To remove the entire Android browser profile, clear VinnerVi's app data in Android's app-storage settings.

Limited Records Retained

Limited payment and purchase-replay identifiers may be retained to prevent duplicate credit grants, reconcile refunds and meet legal obligations. When processed through the Android deletion system, deletion retains a platform- and provider-specific hash of a Google sign-in identifier or normalized email address for up to two years to prevent repeat welcome-credit claims. These hashes are pseudonymous personal data; email hashes can be matched by guessing addresses.

Server logs and internal alerts, including Telegram messages when enabled, may contain account identifiers, email addresses, requested video URLs, job details and credit information. They are not automatically erased or assigned an expiry by the account-deletion process. You can include removal of these identifiable records in an account or data-deletion request. We review records in our systems and request removal by our service providers, except where records are needed for an ongoing security or fraud investigation, a dispute, or a legal obligation. Records retained for an ongoing case are kept until it is resolved, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. We explain any applicable retention when responding to your request. Other processor records and Apple account identifiers follow the retention practices in our Privacy Policy. Google, Apple and Stripe retain their own records under their policies.
